Joe has a great knowledge of DuPage County and the real estate market. For example, we looked at a home in my price range and Joe said this would go for more. I dropped out, but it went through a bidding war and the property eventually sold for 125% of asking price. He was patient with me as I was looking for a certain type of house within a 5-mile radius. Other realtors I've worked with can do the comps, schedule showings, etc., but Joe added a ton of value by looking for mold, identifying flooring issues, and essentially doing a pre-inspection because he didn't want me to buy a house that I was potentially going to regret. Joe did a fantastic job for us. I started out with the attitude of I don't need a realtor, but after getting together with Joe and him pointing out a lot of things I was over looking I was very glad we teamed up with him. We started dealing with him while we still lived in Tennessee and he went to several houses and did a video walk thru with us and a couple with our son and daughter-in-law. As they went thru pointed mainly the negative things with the houses. Finally we moved up without a house and Joe took us around showing us a LOT of houses. What was great was he pointed out all the good things but also the bad that I was over looking. We finally found a house that all of us were good with. I for sure would commend him as I feel he wanted to make sure we got what we were looking for and not just buying something that we would not be happy with.

My husband and I were very lucky to come across Joe, when we were scoping out a house to buy, that he was the listing agent. We worked very well together through the headache of trying to find a house to buy, when we were located out of the state. He took the time to meet with our son to do a video walk thru of a house. He is very good at pointing out the pitfalls in the houses, that we might not notice. It took several months to find a house that is just about perfect, I don't believe any house can be perfect but this one is an extremely good fit. I can't recommend Joe highly enough. I've had a number of realtors help me buy homes over the years and Joe is, far and away, the best realtor I've worked with. He constantly went above and beyond for us as we were moving from out of state to the area. He would drive to homes, take videos of the neighborhood/street and provide commentary so we could get a better feel for what the area was actually like. He would send us texts with what was going on currently in the area like parades and other fun activities to show what life in the neighborhood is like. And, our first trip into town to look at neighborhoods he spent 6 hours with us to help us feel more comfortable. Best home buying experience I've ever had.
