First settled in the 1830s along the banks of the scenic Fox River, Aurora is the 2nd largest city in Illinois with a beautifully diverse population of just under 200,000. Located 40 miles west of Chicago along the I-88 East/West Tollway Corridor, Aurora is accessible through 5 interstate exchanges and 2 Metra BNSF stations. The City covers a lot of territories, primarily in Kane County, but sections also fall in DuPage, Kendall, and Will Counties.
Aurora is served primarily by Aurora West School District 129, Aurora East School District 131 and Indian Prairie School District 204. Paramount Theatre and Arts Center – this historic building originally opened in 1931 presenting “talkies” and Vaudeville acts. The theatre underwent a major restoration project and re-opened In 1995 to its past and current glory. The Paramount has been named one of the top 10 theatres in Chicago and is now home to the popular Broadway Series, along with an impressive calendar of live acts that cover Comedy, Dance, Music and other Performance Genre.

Fox Valley Mall – located on city’s far east side, bordering Naperville, this 1.5M sq.ft.Enclosed shopping center is home to well over a hundred big name and specialty stores, and an impressive food court. Chicago Premium Outlets – Located on the far north side of town, with convenient access at Farnsworth Avenue, this outdoor shopping destination is home to over 160 name brand stores and features outdoor fireplaces, art exhibits and a reflecting pond.
