Aurora is a suburb of Chicago located approximately 30 miles directly west of Chicago.  The majority of the City is within Kane County, however Aurora also has locations in Dupage, Kendall and Will Counties. Aurora is the second most populated city in Illinois.   Aurora’s downtown is located on the Fox River and it officially adopted the nickname “City of Lights” because it was one of the first cities in the US to implement an all electric street lighting system in 1881.  Aurora has immense cultural diversity as well as diversity of housing.  Prices range from under $100k up to over $1 Million.
